Our Director of Equestrian Services is Kayla Dalrymple. Kayla is well regarded as one of the area's top horse trainers - known for her gentle disposition and deep knowledge of horses. Kayla has won dozens of awards in her riding career and has been riding since age 3.
Kayla runs a very organized stable, including twelve box stalls and four tie stalls. We also have an indoor and outdoor riding arena. Our horse breeds include Tennessee Walker, Morgan, Arabian and Percherons.
Ride speed will not exceed a walking pace until the guide is confident in the all riders' abilities. This is for the safety and enjoyment of everyone.
Some guests trailer their horses to the ranch, go out with a guide the first time to learn the area, and then enjoy the trails on their own for the rest of their stay. We charge a $20 per day, per house fee for boarding (grain included).

Trail riders must be over 12. All riders must wear a riding helmet which we will provide.
We offer arena rides for small children. This is a very basic yet enjoyable experience designed with safety in mind. The child is seated in a saddle. Once comfortable, the guide leads the horse on a short ride. Don't forget your camera!

Learn the basics of leading and grooming. This is a great first step for interested riders or for those looking to improve their ground work. It provides riders a deeper understanding of horses and strengthens their comfort level with the animals. Horses often react to human emotions, so the key to relaxing a horse is staying relaxed yourself. This is why many find simply spending time with a horse to be highly therapeutic.
